Your one-of-one crystal shift knob. Same drop-in hardware as the Stellar Cross — your design lives inside the crystal. Pair via Bluetooth, cycle RGB from your phone.

Before you start
- Engine off, parking brake on.
- Time: ~5 minutes.
- Tools: none for most cars; pliers wrapped in cloth if your stock knob is glued.
- Phone: Bluetooth enabled.
Step-by-step
- Verify your Custom Design Certificate matches the design in the crystal and your order email. If it doesn't, stop and email us before installing.
- Identify your shift type:
- Threaded stock knob (most manuals + many autos) — unscrews counter-clockwise.
- Push-down lift-ring (common on autos) — pull the trim ring up, then lift the knob off.
- Twist-lock / button (some performance autos) — release the lock, then lift.
- Remove the stock knob. If it's glued, twist firmly while pulling — pliers wrapped in cloth help.
- Measure the exposed shaft thread diameter. Pick the matching adapter (M8 / M10 / M12).
- Thread the adapter onto the shaft, finger-tight, then a quarter-turn with a wrench.
- Thread the knob onto the adapter clockwise until snug. Hand-tight only — do not over-torque.
- Plug the dual-USB charger into your 12V (cigarette) port.
- Run the USB cable to the knob's base. Tuck along the trim.
- Power on the car — knob lights to default mode.
- Pair the knob via Bluetooth from your phone. Pick a color / pattern / brightness.
Test it
Cycle through every RGB mode. Shift through all gears — knob should stay locked and powered. Light should hold the color/pattern you set.
Troubleshooting
- Knob spins on the shift — Adapter not torqued. Tighten the adapter another quarter-turn.
- No light — Check the USB-charger LED is on. Check the cable seating at both ends.
- Phone can't find the knob — Bluetooth must be on. Power-cycle the knob (unplug then plug back in) and try pairing again.
- Design looks misaligned — Unscrew the knob a half-turn, back the adapter off until the design faces forward, then re-tighten.
- Wrong design entirely — Don't install. Email info@thesniffy.com with your order number and a photo.
Safety
Crystal is glass — drop it, it breaks. Do not modify the wiring. Warranty: 1 year on hardware, see /pages/returns. Custom orders are non-refundable except for quality issues or manufacturing defects.

Drop-in replacement for any threaded, push-down, or twist-lock shift. Diamond-cut crystal with embedded cross element, app-controlled RGB.
